They Are Onto Me

August 17, 2011

If you ran through 20 or so spider webs on your way through the trees, what are the chances that at least one ambitious mankiller spider didn’t hitch a ride back to the homestead.

Between the webs, the skeeters and the high grass tickling my calves, I must look like a bottomed-out tweaker.

Running haphazardly through the park forest, hands flailing, often battering at my own head.  Mother effer this and mother effer that.  Chasing after a crazy looking dog blur that stops only long enough to eat leaves off of special trees and bark at invisible armies.

The moon watched it all, but said nothing, which in some ways is the most worrisome thing of all.

I was bitten by a Brown Recluse hiding out in my pants. Need I say more?
